Webinar on TREC’s New Water Disclosure Form
Please encourage members to register for the webinar on Monday, October 5th from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Central regarding the new Seller’s Disclosure About Groundwater and Surface Water Rights. Attendees will hear directly from Texas water law attorney Brian Sledge and TREC Broker-Lawyer Committee Co-Chair and real estate attorney John George, both of whom were involved in drafting the form. They will cover when the seller is required to provide the disclosure, the form itself, and why the information matters.”

Fair Housing Fireside Chat Series
As part of a NAR Fair Housing grant, the Texas REALTORS® Diversity & Fair Housing Committee has scheduled a series of CE sessions for local associations to offer free of charge to their members. All sessions are set up in a fireside chat format (except Bias Override) as they discuss their topics related to fair housing. Click here for full descriptions of the sessions below.
- October 8 – Fair Housing in Practice: What Every REALTOR® Should Know
- October 15 – The State of Housing in Texas: Data Trends & Fair Housing
- October 29 – Leading the Way: How REALTOR® Associations Advance Fair Housing
- November 12 – Bias Override: Overcoming Barriers to Fair Housing (Texas REALTORS® is covering the NAR royalty fee for each student)
To participate, simply select the course(s) in the broadcast calendar. Texas REALTORS® also created marketing collateral about the series to distribute to members, as well as promote the series to the general membership in the next two weeks and point them to the participating associations to register.
