Strategic Investment Proposal
View the message sent to Texas REALTORS® Board of Directors regarding a proposal to make a strategic investment in Texas REALTORS® headquarters that the board will vote on during their February 10 meeting.
REALTOR® Emeritus Applications
NAR is currently accepting REALTOR® Emeritus applications for eligible members. The honorary status recognizes long-term commitment and service to the National Association of REALTORS®, with honorees receiving a permanent waiver of the NAR portion of board dues, in addition to an exemption from the Code of Ethics and Fair Housing training requirements.
To qualify for REALTOR® Emeritus status, members must meet both of the following criteria:
- 40 cumulative years of membership as a REALTOR®, REALTOR-ASSOCIATE®, or both
- One year of service at the national level (including roles such as committee member, Officer or Director, Federal Political Coordinator, Global Ambassador, or Global Coordinator to a country with an NAR bilateral partnership)
Applications must be submitted by April 2, 2026 by the member’s local association in order to be reviewed for approval at the REALTORS® Legislative Meetings in June.

AE Committee Meeting
The next Association Executives Committee meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 8 from 1pm – 2:30pm during Winter Meeting and will include a presentation with Jeff Turner from Tangilla regarding an overview of the Member Portal as well as updates from Texas REALTORS® senior staff.
